Ready and Waiting

Its been awhile since I have posted anything. Just waiting for baby! I'm 37 weeks so 3 weeks to go! We are anxious to meet this little babe but will wait patiently for its arrival. So happy that we are seeing warmer weather and signs of Spring so that I don't have to bring this baby out in the bitter cold!

Baby's room, all finished and ready.
When we bought the house it was not classified as bedroom and we weren't expecting this extra space when looking at the house. Right away I knew it was perfect for a nursery! Its off the hall upstairs, our master bedroom is right beside it and its all we need. The previous owner had an eliptical and an ironing board in it. It was in rough shape, old wallpaper, the ceiling was coming down so we did a bit of work and finished it off. (I took pictures along the process but can't find them....) We decorated it neutral and will personalize it when we know who this little babe is!

We usually keep the door closed otherwise these two monkeys like to get into baby stuff and pretend they are babies again!

Good Morning!

Good morning from my two sunshines!

Emma is my morning girl, we are usually up around an hour before Owen makes his presence- Mommy and Emma time. Always crazy morning hair!

Owen usually makes his presence by acting like an animal and we guess which one.

Both of them are cheerful in the morning and I'm thankful for that.
Soon there will be a third in the mix! 9 more weeks!

Celebrations

Its been awhile since I have been on here. Been a little busy getting settled in the new house! We've had lots of celebrations with Owen's 4th birthday and Christmas! Here are a few pictures from the season. Hope you all had a blessed season as well!

Owen is 4!

Sled from Grandpa and Grandma! Now he needs some snow to use it!

Grandpa and Grandma came to spend Christmas with us in our new home!

Owen was supposed to smile, instead he was acting goofy.

Good-bye Woodstock

Saturday, November 22nd we said good-bye to the house that we had called home for the past 7 years.

It was emotional to leave the house that had so many memories.
The place we had trials and lots of special times.
The home we spent many countless hours renovating.
The home we loved.

It saw us battle John's cancer
Start our married life together
Struggle with fertility
Become parents
Lose a child
and so much more
Your first house is special.
So special.

But I know as many memories as we have in that home, we will create new ones in our new home.
So I look forward to those new memories and remember and am thankful for the ones that we have had.

Home is where the heart is.

Here are some pictures of our last days there, of course we had tons of snow.
Not something we were counting on for our move!

Little Packers

Packing is well under way for us over here. I have two little helpers. They love to climb in boxes and take stuff out of them. Lots of help for me.... :) Hey at least they are having fun doing it!

John brought home this huge box from work, a bit too big for anything but it made a perfect fort for these two, it has kept them busy all week!

House is full of boxes, a little chaotic. 19 days to go!

SOLD

Two weeks ago the sign went up....

Yesterday another sign went up!

We sold our house! Fixed it all up over the past few weeks, projects we've been longing to do in the 7 years we've been here. Now its all done. And then we go and sell it!

Now we have to pack... and find another house! (offer pending on one).
Moving date to be determined yet.... its set for end of December but if we can get in our new house earlier we will bump it up to end of November.

Let the packing begin!
