Owen is 5!

He is a loving son and older brother. Always willing to help out and give you a hug and tell you he loves you. He LOVES Kindergarten and is doing very well. He love to draw, colour and read books. His favourite thing is building lego blocks and he has quite the imagination and makes very impressive creations on his own! He adores his sisters, especially baby Kate who he loves to talk to and play with. He is a big momma's boy and although he challenges me daily he is my little man and I am crazy about him, especially when he flashes me that sweet sweet smile. 

He turned 5 on December 17th. He had a great day at school, it was the Christmas assembly and last day of school for his class. its a small school and the little kids get to go around the different classrooms and get little gifts from all the teachers. he was spoiled. It was a busy day of school and dinner with Grandpa and Grandma W. 

(don't look at my not so great icing job on the cake. I normally like to do a unique cake and I had baked two batches of brownies that I decorated as Christmas trees for his class/teachers. I planned on using the second batch for us instead of a cake but they didn't turn out the best.... I guess that is what happens when you bake at supper time and 3 kids are bugging you. You only put in half the amount of sugar.... oops. so I whipped this cake together and iced it seconds before this picture.... he didn't notice :)

The next day we headed to the Rafthon to spend time with my family! 

Got home Saturday night and decided to open presents with the kiddos.
