Raggin'

Ever make a rag quilt? I was surfin' online and found this cute picture of a rag quilt so I thought I was up for the challenge! It is a lot of work but Owen loves it so it was worth it! I actually had made receiving blankets before Owen was born but then I got so many after that I never used the ones I made so I cut them up and could use the fabric for this quilt. You need a lot of flannel fabric! And its a lot of work but I love the finished product. I bound the edges but next time I would rag the edges, the binding was the most work and I think it took me three times to be happy with it. I think the funnest part was picking out all the fabric. Oh how I love fabrics... click here for the link

  2. very cute Amanda! I should have done something like that with all of our extra receiving blankets... they're all in a box to be given to value village :)
