We went church camping this year again and had a great time. I wasn't sure how it would be with two kids but it went so smoothly, Owen was at such a good age he played so well with the other kids and Emma just slept and ate. Plus the campground is 5 minutes from home so I knew I could go home if I wanted to- it was so cold the first night we went home the next day to get more blankets.
We had 7 families come out and some singles. On the Wednesday night we invited the whole church for a potluck dinner and campfire and we had a good turnout for that. It was a nice 4 days to get away from home and have some great socializing!

The guys are shooting golf balls around the site and the kids are watching.
Owen is obsessed with bugs. So I bought him a bug catcher before we left knowing he would find lots at camp. He is so enthusiastic about it that he got all the kids into it as well and they would all catch bugs for him and run around showing them off.

ReplyDeleteCute about the bugs! You just never know what they'll be into next! Emma looks like a pretty relaxed camper! Must have been nice to get out for a few days! We are hoping to go out for two days this week! hope it goes well...
